“I first met Sigrid Williams when she lived in another county. She was visiting for one of our in town horse rides. She fell in love with our little town and wanted to move here because she loves our way of life. She didn’t want not come here and change it but to be a part of it. She soon jumped in as a great member of our community. Volunteering in any way she could. With her background in law enforcement, joined the mounted posse. Even though she was continuing her education while working multiple jobs, she always had time for Norco. IU now that she will fight for our community. She has an uncanny ability to look at all sides of a situation and work together as a team to create not only a safe environment for our residents, but also keep the very important way of life we all moved her for.”
- Mickey Nichols, Norco Resident and Business Owner
“I'm excited she is running and I support her. If any voter takes the time to talk to her, read her information and Q&A, looks at her skills, education and background, and does their homework, they will find she is a strong leader, fair to all, a free thinker and not bound by special interest, cronyism, or an agenda. She understands our unique city and will be an asset to it's success. She is EXACTLY what Norco has needed for many years!”
- Doug Wozny, Norco Resident
- Katherine Bish, Norco Resident
"Dr. Williams is someone who understands what it means to be a public servant and knows what it takes to get the job done while supporting and moving the community forward. I’ve worked with her at Cal State Fullerton for over ten years and have seen her work with our students with integrity and compassion, while holding our students to a high standard. I have no doubt that she can do the same for Norco"
- Monisha Miller, Lecturer, Cal State Fullerton
"Professor Williams brought to Norco College what the city itself needs now, more than ever. She is incredibly easy to work with, the best professor I have come across during my time in academia. She has held all of her student to a high standard, and truly brought the best out of every student day in and day out. She will do so with our city as well."
- Hunter Felkner, Norco Alumni/Prelaw at UCI.
"In the time that I have known Sigrid Williams, she has demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and community care. As a professor, she is clear, fair, and empathetic with her students, always taking time to ensure that their questions are answered and their needs are met. As a mentor, she is helpful and kind. Sigrid is very community minded, and has demonstrated her commitment to community leadership throughout the COVID-19 pandemic. She transitioned from live instruction to online instruction with grace and agility, adjusting her course to meet changing student needs without compromising academic rigor. Sigrid always encourages and empowers her students to get involved in their communities, and she is leading by example by running for city council. I have no doubt she will serve her community well in this position"
- Christina Brown, M.A., CSUF Graduate Assistant/Alumni
“Dr. Williams is one of the most selfless, caring, and dedicated people I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. I was fortunate enough to have her as a teacher in high school and later as a mentor throughout my college career, which is a role she took on simply out of the kindness of her own heart. I owe so much of my success and growth to her for the time she has taken out of her life to invest in mine. The way she cares about her student’s lives and future careers is unmatched and that is obvious to anyone who has had her as a teacher or worked with her. She goes far beyond what is expected in order to ensure her students succeed and feel seen. Her years of public service both professionally and voluntarily reflect her genuine desire to better any community she is a part of and I have no doubt that she will enthusiastically apply that to serving in the city council of a city she cares so deeply for. I truly cannot think of a better person for this position.”
- Jennifer Eazell, Former Student

- Mike Leese, Adjunct Professor, Norco College
“I have found that Sigrid has the ability of dealing with issues sensibly and realistically in a way that is based on practical rather than theoretical considerations.”
- Lance Gregory
